Ojio Yacon Syrup

Ojio Raw Organic Yacon Powder is made from a potato-like root that has been farmed in the lush mountain valleys of Peru for centuries. Often called the “Apple of the Earth”, these roots are sliced thin and sun-dried before being stone-ground into a powder. Yacon has a wonderful sweet taste and a naturally high Inulin content, with only about half the calories of the average sugar source. Yacon’s complex sugars break down slowly so they have little effect on blood glucose levels, making it low on the Glycemic Index.
